One way in which we are able to demonstrate our faith is through tending to the needs of less fortunate brothers and sisters in the Lord. The Appeal sets aside $1.5 million per year so that the Catholic Charities Office, together with the Family Life/Respect Life Office, the Hispanic Apostolate, and the Office of Black Ministry, are able to provide them with the essential human needs of shelter, nourishment, medical assistance, and counseling.
