Thank you for visiting our website! The Archdiocesan Stewardship Appeal, which we used to call the Cardinal’s Appeal, makes it possible for us to do the important work we do each and every day in our parishes, schools, religious education classes, charitable programs and so much more.
You will hear me speak a lot about Stewardship in the years ahead, as it is such a beautiful expression of our love for God, his church and one another. Stewardship allows us to say Thank you to Jesus Christ for the many blessings He has given to us.
And we, here in New York, truly have so much to be thankful for. For example, our excellent Seminary system that educates our future priests and deacons, our terrific catholic schools that instruct our youth about what it means to be a follower of Christ, and our charitable undertakings that allow us to bring God’s love to those in need. All of these blessings would be impossible were it not for your support of the Stewardship Appeal.
This is the first of many times I will come to you to ask for your support, and I have great faith that you will respond as you have in the past. I have truly been inspired by your goodness and your tremendous generosity. Thank you so much for that and for your consideration of a gift to the 2010 Archdiocesan Stewardship Appeal.
